The Knights bolster their rotation with Siena standout Ryan Taffe, continuing a pitcher-heavy recruitment surge as the transfer portal deadline nears for a reconstructed UCF roster.
The UCF Knights continue their pitcher-heavy activity in June's transfer portal by landing Siena transfer right-handed pitcher Ryan Taffe, bolstering the pitching depth even further.
Taffe started his collegiate baseball career at Fairfield in 2023. He transferred to Siena after one season and spent the next three years pitching for the Saints.
The Siena transfer is playing for the Harwich Mariners, a college summer baseball team in the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL). Taffe has made three appearances, pitching 4.1 innings with a 6.23 ERA, five hits, five runs and five strikeouts.
The transfer portal will remain open until June 30, and the transfer portal tracker will monitor every player departure or addition. Each updated entry is in chronological order from newest to oldest, and outgoing transfers who commit to another program will appear at the top of the list with their updated information.
