QUOTE:  "I think it's important for us to go out there and have a winning effort for sure," coach Johnny Dawkins said. "I mean, I'm sure they're going to come out and compete the same way. We have to go out there and take it possession by possession and play as hard as we can and play together. We need to make sure our guys stay connected. We've been connected all through the season. We need to continue to do that. We played our best basketball. We've been connecting offensively, and our defense has been connected, so we have to make sure we get back to doing the things that have given us some success this year."

UCF AIMING TO SPOIL WEST VIRGINIA'S SENIOR NIGHT BEFORE BIG 12 TOURNAMENT

The Knights' loss against Oklahoma State came on Senior Knight, honoring six players who played their last game at the Addition Financial Arena.

Guards Jasper Floyd, Honor Huff and Chance Moore; forwards Treysen Eaglestaff, Jackson Fields and Brenen Lorient; and center Harlan Obioha are the seven Mountaineers who will play their final game in the Hope Coliseum.

UCF spoiling West Virginia's senior night with a victory would tie the season series and send the team up to Kansas City, Mo., with positive momentum entering the Big 12 Tournament.
