Three UCF quarterbacks entered the transfer portal. Discover where Tayven Jackson, Cam Fancher, and Jacurri Brown landed for their next collegiate football chapters.

After a season-long quarterback carousel last season, all three of UCF's quarterback who saw major playing time decided to enter the transfer portal. With junior quarterback Tayven Jackson announcing his commitment this past Sunday, all three have found their next stops.

Tayven Jackson - North Texas

Jackson was the main signal caller for UCF last season, starting ten games after originally being beaten out by senior quarterback Cam Fancher. Jackson had inconsistencies throughout the year, shining one week before struggling the next. He played well in front of the UCF fans, throwing for seven touchdowns and just three interceptions at home.

However, Jackson struggled immensely on the road, throwing only three touchdowns and four interceptions and failing to secure a victory away from the Bounce House.

Jackson's rushing numbers also took a severe dip. At home, he scored three touchdowns with his legs while adding 92 yards. But, on the road, he failed to find the end zone and was sacked enough to counteract the positive gains, finishing with -7 yards rushing.

Jackson, who has had stops at Tennessee, Indiana and UCF will now play for North Texas.

Last season, North Texas had a lethal passing attack led by freshman quarterback Drew Mestemaker. Mestemaker, who has transferred to Oklahoma State, led the country in passing with 4,379 yards and was second in passing touchdowns with 34.

Cam Fancher - Michigan State

Senior quarterback Cam Fancher never really had the chance to cement himself within head coach Scott Frost's offense as he was hurt in UCF's opener and struggled to regain his spot due to lingering injuries.

Fancher was named the starter just days before the Knights opening game against Jacksonville State, but suffered an injury in the first half, which opened the door for Jackson to take over.

Fancher played in just two other games following this injury. Most notably, he started on the road against Cincinnati and showcased his dual-threat ability, but was unable to lead UCF to a victory. Fancher and the UCF offense were stagnant, scoring just one touchdown on a late quarterbakc scramble.

Michigan State is Fancher's fourth school that he will suit up for, following stops at Marshall, Florida Atlantic and UCF. He is in line to compete for the starting position after the Spartans' former quarterback, Aidan Chiles transferred to Northwestern. Michigan State is coming off of a 4-8 season and a bottom-three finish in the Big Ten.

Jacurri Brown - Rice

The final of the three quarterbacks to announce their new schools is redshirt junior Jacurri Brown. Brown spent two seasons at UCF where he made limited starts. However, when he did play, his athletic traits shined through.

Brown did much of his work with his legs, rushing for 154 yards for two touchdowns on 13 carries against Iowa State as a sophomore in his first ever start. This past season, against N.C. A&T, Brown rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns on only five attempts while completing two-of-three passes for 15 yards.

This is Brown's third school after playing for Miami and UCF. Brown will hope to provide some stability in an Owls' quarterback room that saw four different quarterbacks play last season. The Owls finished 5-8.
