On Monday, two UCF defensive backs made individual appearances on Pro Football Network's position grades, with Antione Jackson (91.5) graded as the No. 10 corner and Demari Henderson (90.6) ranking at No. 9 among safeties.
Henderson was the star of Saturday's 44-30 victory over Georgia State, recording two interceptions and seven tackles.
With his two picks, he became the second Knight to have two or more multi-interception games in the last 18 years and just the fourth in program history, according to UCF Football's X account.
For his performance, Henderson was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week, marking the Knights' first weekly designation of the season.
Jackson, on the other hand, has been a consistent force on the perimeter of defensive coordinator Alex Grinch's attack, recording a pass defensed in all three games.
He was extremely effective against Pittsburgh on the road, playing a big role in UCF's stellar defensive effort.
The Knights fell 12-7 in a rainy atmosphere, but held an explosive Panthers passing attack out of the endzone.
Although Jackson has not yet recorded a takeaway, he has been a big supporter of first-year defensive backs coach David Overstreet II's aggressive philosophy.
"His resume speaks for itself," Jackson said. "All the corners he coached, he coached corners with the most picks in the league, with all-pro corners because of the takeaways. So, he's very big on takeaways."
Overstreet spent multiple seasons in the NFL, and has coached high-level DBs like Jaylon Johnson.
Going forward, this aggressive mindset from UCF's back seven will need to be smart as more-consistent QB-play attacks them in the Big 12.

Harvard transfer quarterback Jaden Craig got off to a slow start in the College Football opener in Ireland, but has begun to find his footing with the Horned Frogs.
Craig has thrown for at least 337 yards in his past two games, throwing for three touchdowns in their 31-7 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday.
But, he did surrender his first interception of the season, which will be a goal for UCF to replicate on Saturday.
