UCF's all-time touchdown king, RJ Harvey, unleashes a three-score masterpiece, showcasing his explosive running and receiving prowess for the Broncos.

Last season, UCF experienced a bittersweet end to a tumultuous year, losing 28-14 on Senior Knight to Utah.

However, the lone two scores for the Knights that game were monumental, as UCF legend, running back RJ Harvey, scored his program-record 47th and 48th career touchdowns, cementing himself as the all-time touchdown leader at UCF.

After a strong showing at the NFL Combine, Harvey was selected 60th overall by the Denver Broncos in the 2025 Draft.

Until last night, Harvey had been primarily featured in the Broncos' passing game, serving as the team's third-down and receiving back. He had scored two touchdowns through the air, but was yet to run one in for himself.

But, against a depleted Cowboys defense, Harvey exploded, finding the end zone twice with his legs and adding another touchdown reception. Harvey's trifecta marks the first time a Broncos rookie has done so since running back Clinton Portis in 2002.

"He's a huge part of what we're doing offensively, and it was a huge breakout game for him," Broncos tackle Mike McGlinchey said after the game. "You knew that was coming."

After an opening drive interception from Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, Harvey broke off his first touchdown of the night on the subsequent drive, breaking free for a 40-yard burst down the left sideline.

In the second quarter, Harvey lined up on the one-yard line in the Wildcat formation - a play that Harvey made a living with during his time at UCF.

With three minutes to play in the first half, Harvey took the direct snap, bursted forward and crossed the plane for his second rushing touchdown of the game.

Midway through the fourth, Harvey added his lone receiving touchdown on a 5-yard score, completing the hat trick.
To celebrate, Harvey performed his own version of the "Lambeau Leap," jumping into the home crowd behind the end zone. Broncos fans welcomed the leaping running back with open arms.

Harvey spoke on his breakout performance following the game, shouting out his fellow rookies for their performances.

"It's a great confidence-builder for us," Harvey said. "Pat had a great game today. Jahdae had an exceptional pick today. We're just trying to put on for this rookie class."

This performance solidified Harvey’s growing role in the Broncos' offense and marked a big milestone in his transition from UCF stardom to NFL contributor.
