The WNBA national broadcast schedule is out, and Azzi Fudd and Paige Bueckers will take the floor together in an early-season showdown.
University of Connecticut women's basketball fans who want to see former Huskies Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd reunite on the floor won't have to wait very long.
The WNBA just announced its national broadcast schedule for 2026 on Wednesday, and Bueckers, Fudd and the Dallas Wings will take on Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever on Saturday, May 9. That game will air at 1 p.m. ET.
Clark was the No. 1 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft out of Iowa, while Bueckers (2025) and Fudd (2026), were both taken by Dallas. It's unclear if Fudd will start right away, but regardless, she and Bueckers will factor prominently into Dallas's plans this season.

A three-time Big East Player of the Year, she was also a Naismith Award Winner, a Wooden Award winner, a three-time All-American and a winner of the Wade Trophy.

She was recently selected to the Team USA roster for the FIBA World Cup and is tracking toward a berth on her first Olympic team. The next Olympics are in 2028 (Los Angeles).
As for Fudd

This year, with Bueckers having graduated, she led the Big East in three-point shooting again (44.7 percent) while elevating her game to 17.3 ppg. She led the Huskies to an undefeated regular season and a trip to the Final Four, where they were upended by South Carolina. Fudd was a first-team All-American. She was also a two-time All-Big East selection during her time in Storrs.
