Fudd is the latest woman to play basketball at UConn to rep the Jordan Brand.

Azzi Fudd stepped into a new NIL deal on Friday, one that will transition to the pros with her.

The Jordan Brand announced Friday a partnership with Fudd, with this post on Instagram: "Get buckets. Serve looks. Put the world on notice. Welcome to the fam, @azzi35.”

No contract terms were disclosed, but Jordan Brand smartly locked up the services of the UConn guard before the 2026 NBA Draft in April. If the Dallas Wings pass on her with the No. 1 overall pick, the experts have projected she won’t get past the Minnesota Lynx at No. 2.

And Fudd already has proved her worth. The NIL Store reported Friday that Fudd merchandise was the No. 1 seller among female athletes last month – for the seventh month in a row.

Fudd said she is honored to partner with the Jordan Brand.

“I grew up watching what the Jumpman meant to basketball and to the culture around the game, so becoming part of the Jordan Brand family represents what I am stepping into and the greatness that I aspire to be,” Fudd said.

“To wear the same logo that so many legends have worn is something I don’t take lightly. For me, it’s about honoring that legacy while also helping show what the next generation of women’s basketball looks like. I’m excited to keep pushing my game forward while representing Jordan Brand with pride. And I hope that I continue to inspire young girls who dream of playing at the highest level.”

She is the latest UConn athlete to represent the Jordan Brand, which is a division of Nike. Maya Moore was the first female basketball player to sign with Jordan, and Napheesa Collier joined last year.

So did Fudd’s teammate, Sarah Strong, who signed an NIL deal with the Jordan Brand last November. She was one of four prominent college basketball players to sign then, joining Kiyan Anthony of Syracuse and twins Cameron Boozer and Cayden Boozer of Duke.

"Being part of Jordan Brand is honestly a huge honor," Strong said in a statement at the time. "Jordan is a symbol of greatness and confidence, so being part of the family feels very surreal."

This is just the latest NIL deal for Fudd. Last week, insurer Geico announced a partnership that includes her being featured in a docuseries on Paramount+, “Miles That Matter,” that will chronicle the journey she and other players took to the top. She is believed to be the first female athlete to work with Geico.

The partnership was advertised on billboards near Madison Square Garden last weekend before UConn met St. John’s there.

Fudd also has NIL deals with Unrivaled, Chipotle and Bose, among others, On3 reported.
