The seven-time Super Bowl winner spoke with Brock & Salk on Seattle Sports 710 on Wednesday.

The Seattle Seahawks clinched a spot in the Super Bowl last Sunday with a 31-27 win over the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field. It is the fourth Super Bowl appearance for the Seahawks in franchise history.

Seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Tom Brady was on the call of that NFC title game for FOX Sports and he joined Brock & Salk on Seattle Sports 710 to break down what he saw from the Seahawks on Wednesday morning.

But while talking Seahawks, Brady also dabbled in some other subjects, including Bill Belichick not being a first-ballot Hall of Famer for the Pro Football Hall of Fame and his college recruitment.

Brady, who played college football at Michigan, was asked about deciding on college the same year as Brock Huard, who is the co-host of Brock & Salk.

Per Maura Dooley, who is a show producer:

Tom Brady on @SeattleSports to @BrockHuard on deciding on their colleges the same year: "You chose Washington pretty early on in your journey and that was one of the West coast schools that I obviously loved. We all did but they were off the board."

Soooooooo, does that mean that Brady had designs on playing for the Huskies and not Michigan? It certainly sounds like it's possible!

About Huard

A Seattle native, Huard is now 49 years old while Brady is 48. Drafted in the third round of the 1999 draft by the Seahawks, Huard spent three years at Washington, playing in 30 games. He completed 54.4 percent of his throws for 5,742 yards. He tossed 51 touchdowns against 27 interceptions.

He led Washington to bowl game appearances in 1996 (loss to Colorado), 1997 (win vs. Michigan State) and 1998 (loss to Air Force).

He spent parts of three seasons in the NFL with the Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts, earning four starts. He went 0-4.

About Brady

Well, there's not a lot that needs to be said here. The greatest quarterback and greatest winner of all-time, he won six Super Bowl championships with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A 15-time Pro Bowler, he was also a five-time Super Bowl MVP, a three-time MVP and a three-time All-Pro. He will be a first ballot Hall of Famer when first eligible.

And to think, his story could have potentially started at Washington. It sounds like maybe that was a thought he had before UW went to Huard. For what it's worth, Brady was not a top-end recruit before he went to Michigan and he was also a sixth-round draft pick in the 2000 NFL Draft
