The list of teams interested in potentially selecting Denzel Boston in the 2026 NFL Draft has grown

The Washington Huskies are hard at-work this spring trying to figure out the depth chart on offense and defense.

The Huskies have talented but unproven players at several positions and this spring is the first time many of them are getting a true look in starting roles.

The reason UW is still sorting through the depth chart on both sides of the ball is the departures of several players who are attempting to go pro in the NFL.

One of the talented players Washington is attempting to replace is wide receiver Denzel Boston.

The 6-foot-4, 209-pound pass-catcher led the Huskies with 881 yards last season on 62 catches. He also had 11 receiving touchdowns, which also led the team.

Since making the decision to forego his senior season and enter the NFL 2026 draft, Boston has been regarded as one of the best wide receivers available.

Boston has received a first-round grade from most analysts and publications and has been graded anywhere from WR 1-5 among other pass-catchers in the draft. This year's draft is expected to be heavy with first-round receiver talent.

Most publications have Boston projected to get drafted by either the Pittsburgh Steelers or the Buffalo Bills, two teams who would benefit from a big-bodied, outside receiver with a large catch radius.

But just because the Steelers and the Bills are considered the two likeliest destinations for the South Hill, Wash., native doesn't mean other teams aren't interested.

According to a post on "X" from ESPN's NFL Draft analyst Field Yates, Boston has had a pre-draft visit with the Carolina Panthers, which has the 19th overall pick in the draft.

The Panthers have recent experience having success with a Jedd Fisch-coached wide receiver.

Carolina picked Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan with the eighth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. McMillan played two of his three college seasons under Fisch from '22-23.

McMillan had a stellar rookie year. He finished with 70 catches for 1,014 yards and seven touchdowns. He was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year and was named to the Pro Football Writers of America's All-Rookie team at the end of the season.

The Panthers likely are very familiar with Fisch's offense, having watched film on McMillan before drafting him. A visit with Boston indicates that Carolina is at least interested on doubling up on Fisch-coached receivers.

In addition to the Steelers, Bills and Panthers, Boston has also had meetings with the Cleveland Browns, among other teams.

The 2026 NFL Draft takes place from April 23-25 at North Shore and Point State Park in Pittsburgh.
