Fans of the Washington Huskies will be able to play as several highly-ranked players when the video game comes out July 9.
The Washington Huskies football team has been steadily improving since hiring Jedd Fisch as head coach ahead of the 2024 season.
Since taking the helm of the program, the Huskies went 6-7 in 2024 and 9-4 in 2025. There's expectations for the team to take another step forward next season as Washington has been featured in several preseason top 25 polls.
As a result, several Huskies have received decent ratings in EA Sports' College Football 27 video game, which is set to release July 9.
Here's a look at some of the highest-rated players in the upcoming video game release, which will be available on Playstation, Xbox and PC.
Top rated player
-- Demond Williams Jr., QB (88 rating)
The true junior signal-caller concluded his first full season as a starter last season. He led the Big Ten in total yardage with 3,676 (3,065 passing, 611 rushing) to go with 31 total touchdowns (25 passing, six rushing) and eight interceptions.
There's expectations for Williams, who followed Fisch in the transfer portal after initially committing to the former's previous stop, Arizona, to take another step in 2026.
Next highest-rated offensive player
-- Dezmen Roebuck, WR (87 rating)
Aside from Williams, the highest-rated player on Washington this season is sophomore wide receiver Dezmen Roebuck.
The second-year pass-catcher was second on the team in receiving yards last season (42 catches, 560 yards, seven touchdowns). He'll move from the outside to the slot this year and is expected to be Williams' No. 1 target in the passing game.

-- Jacob Manu, ILB (87 rating)
The senior linebacker wasn't able to put together a full year in his first season in the Pacific Northwest. The former first-team All-Pac-12 selection (2023) played in just five games last season due to various injuries. He finished the year with 23 tackles (10 solo) and one pass defended.
Entering this season, Manu is completely healthy and is anticipated to be the top performer for a Huskies linebacker corps that's arguably the deepest positional group on the team.
Fastest player
-- Jordan Washington, RB (81 overall rating; 93 speed)
For video game players who enjoy speedsters on their roster, Jordan Washington has the claim of the fastest player on Washington's roster, per EA Sports' rankings.
The sophomore ball-carrier entered this season as the team's presumptive starter in the backfield after having 27 carries for 233 yards and one touchdown his freshman season in 2025. The team's leading rusher Jonah Coleman entered the NFL draft and UW's second-leading rusher, Adam Mohammed, transferred to Cal.
Washington unfortunately suffered a head-and-neck injury that kept him out for the majority of spring practices. His status for fall camp and for the season is still to-be-determined.
Interesting notes
The Huskies have several more players aside from Roebuck, Williams and Manu who have received positive grades from EA Sports.
Including the aforementioned three, Washington has seven players ranked 84 overall or better.
The other four players in that crop include: safety Alex McLaughlin (84 rating), tight end Decker DeGraaf (84 rating), defensive tackle Elinneus Davis (85 rating) and right tackle Drew Azzopardi (85 rating).
