    The Huskies will take on the Wolverines on Saturday morning in Ann Arbor, and they'll do so with a 6-9 lifetime record against the new conference rivals.

    After beating Rutgers on Friday night (38-19), the University of Washington football team will storm into Ann Arbor, Mich. this upcoming Saturday for one of the marquee games on the college football calendar.

    The Huskies are 5-1, with their only loss coming against No. 1 Ohio State while Michigan is 4-2. They are coming off a loss against USC (31-13), and have also lost to Oklahoma.

    These two schools are now Big 10 rivals, and this will be the second matchup between them as such. However, they've met 15 times in total before, with Michigan holding a 9-6 edge on the Huskies. Here's a look at the last five meetings between the two:

    Oct. 5, 2024. Washington 27, Michigan 17

    This win moved Washington to 4-2 on the season as the Huskies overcame a 17-14 deficit at the start of the fourth quarter. Quarterback Will Rogers went 21-for-31 for 271 yards and two touchdowns while Jonah Coleman ran for 80 yards and a touchdown.

    Jan. 8, 2024. Michigan 34, Washington 13

    The National Championship game from the 2023 season, this marked the last game in Seattle for stars Michael Penix Jr. and Rome Odunze, who were first-round draft picks in the NFL. It was also the final game for Kalen Deboer, who moved onto Alabama, and Ja'lynn Polk, who was drafted in the second round by the New England Patriots.

    Penix threw for 255 yards, a touchdown and an interception, while Odunze had 87 yards on five catches.

    Sept. 11, 2021. Michigan 31, Washington 10

    Dylan Morris threw for 293 yards in the loss but the Huskies struggled to run the football, picking up just 50 yards on the ground. Blake Corum, now of the Los Angeles Rams, ran for 171 yards and Michigan picked up a whopping 343 yards on the ground in total.
