The Huskies didn't receive one vote after their loss against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday.
The Washington Huskies football team was unable to find success in its Big Ten opener and suffered a 27-24 defeat against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sept. 26 at Husky Stadium in Seattle.
The loss dropped the Huskies to 3-1 on the season and seems to have completely removed Washington from the national conversation, at least for now.
The Associated Press released its latest Top 25 poll Sunday. The Huskies were, expectedly, not include among the Top 25 teams in the country.
The Big Ten had six teams from the conference ranked in the Top 25: the Ohio State Buckeyes (No. 5), the Indiana Hoosiers (No. 6), the Iowa Hawkeyes (No. 14), Oregon Ducks (No. 15), Southern California (USC) Trojans (No. 18) and UCLA Bruins (No. 23). This week is the Bruins first in the Top 25 after being unranked through the first four weeks of the season.
There were several more teams from the Big Ten who received votes but weren't among the teams included on the poll. The Wisconsin Badgers were the top vote-getters not to place (102 votes), the Penn State Nittany Lions had 98 votes (and were knocked out of the poll), the Michigan Wolverines had 54 (and were knocked out of the poll from last week), the Nebraska Cornhuskers had 36, Minnesota had seven and the Northwestern Wildcats had one.
Washington didn't receive a single vote from AP poll voters, which has completed the program's fall from being featured on the preseason poll to completely out of it.
The Huskies began the season ranked 17th in the country, fell to 19th after their win against the Washington State Cougars, and fell completely out of the poll after a win against the Utah State Aggies. UW's fall was due to the unimpressive nature of its performance in the nonconference schedule.
Despite this, the Huskies were still the top vote-getting team not in the Top 25 following their Week 2 and Week three victories.

The Huskies will be on the road for the first time this season against the No. 18 Trojans at 4:30 p.m. PT on Oct. 3 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.
After that game, Washington will return to the Pacific Northwest to play the No. 14 Hawkeyes at 6 p.m. PT on Oct. 9 at Husky Stadium.
