The Huskies earned a commitment from four-star guard Jessie Moses on Tuesday.
The Washington Huskies women's basketball team will take part in Big Ten media days Wednesday at the Donald E. Stephens Center in Rosemont, Ill.
The Huskies women's basketball team will enter the year with legitimate aspirations of winning a Big Ten title, which would be the program's first conference championship since 2001.
Washington is also putting the initial touches on the 2027 season.
On Tuesday, the Huskies earned a commitment from four-star guard Jessie Moses. She was the second commitment of the class for the program.
The 5-foot-10 guard is ranked as the 45th-best recruit in the class per ESPN's NEXT top 100 rankings.
Moses attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. She's ranked as a five-star guard, the 30th-best player in the class, the second-best combo guard and fourth-best player in Florida according to the 247Sports composite. She also received offers from Miami, Illinois, Clemson, Virginia and Harvard, among other's.
With IMG Academy, Moses averaged 19 points, 3.4 rebounds, three assists and three steals in the 2024-25 season.
Washington's other commitment of the class came from four-star guard Ze'Ni Patterson, another combo guard who attends Archbishop Mitty in San Jose, Calif. She's ranked as the 86th player on ESPN NEXT's top 100.
The Huskies have already doubled the number of players committed from the Class of 2026. Four-star guard Amayah Garcia was the team's lone recruitment from last season's recruiting cycle.
Washington could also continue to add to the class before the 2027-28 season gets underway.
The Huskies are still pursuing the top point guard and overall player in the class, Kaleena Smith. Washington has already hosted Smith for a visit and has had an in-home date with the top-rated recruit.
UW and head coach Tina Langley have seen a significant amount of success on the recruiting trail over the last several years. Langley's first full recruiting group from the Class of 2022 just graduated and helped lead the program to back-to-back NCAA tournament berths for the first time in nearly a decade. In the Class of 2023, Langley landed a commitment from point guard Sayvia Sellers, who has landed back-to-back preseason All-Big Ten honors and was first-team All-Big Ten last season.
Langley was also able to land five-star forward Brynn McGaughy in the Class of 2025, who was the highest-rated recruit in the head coach's tenure. McGaughy finished her first year of college ball named to the Big Ten All-Freshman team.
