The Washington Huskies football team could see a blitz of commitments in final days of June and the first day of July.

The Huskies have been predicted to land several recruiting targets they've hosted for official visits in the last month, including several offensive linemen they hosted on Montlake this past weekend.

Washington appeared to make a good impression on the linemen they hosted, in particular, and were predicted to land several of them based on various predictions.

Unfortunately for the Huskies, they were unable to make the final push across the finish line for one of those linemen, who opted to go to UW's biggest in-state rivals instead.

Four-star interior offensive lineman Rashaun Lavata'i announced his commitment to the Washington State Cougars on Tuesday, despite reports from Rivals that Washington appeared to be the front-runnners.

Lavata'i is a local kid to the Huskies campus. He attends Curtis High School in Tacoma, Wash., and is ranked as the third-best player in Washington, per the 247Sports composite. He's also ranked as the 293rd best overall player and 14th-best interior offensive lineman in the class.

If Washington landed a commitment from Lavata'i, the program would have landed the top three players in the state according to the 247Sports composite. The other two were three-star wide receiver Braylon Pope and four-star defensive lineman Tevita Nonu.

The Huskies can still land three of the top four players in the state based on how things go with their other recruiting targets in the trenches.

Rivals.com currently has Washington as the front-runners for four-star interior offensive lineman Gecova Doyal, who's ranked as the 357th-best overall player, 16th-best interior offensive lineman and fourth-best player in the state per the 247Sports composite. Rivals.com has the Huskies with an 88.7% chance to land him. Doyal lands Puyallup High School in Puyallup, Wash.

The Huskies are also considered the leaders for three-star offensive tackle Tye Kennedy. His father, Lincoln Kennedy, was an All-American offensive lineman for UW and a multi-time Pro Bowler in the NFL.

The younger Kennedy is ranked as the 629th best overall player, 58th-best offensive tackle and 11th-best player in Arizona per the 247Sports composite. Currently, Rivals.com has Washington with a 95.1% chance to earn a commitment from him.

Both Kennedy and Doyal are set to make their respective commitment dates July 1.

The Huskies will also be awaiting the decision for four-star interior offensive lineman DaJohn Yarborough. UW has the second-best odds to land him (17.7%) per Rivals.com and Cal has the highest odds to earn a commitment at 20.2%.
