The Washington Huskies football team is looking to add the final touches to its 2027 recruiting class. On the list for the Huskies is several more high-end pass catchers.

The Huskies have already earned commitments from several players, including four-star wide receivers Zerek Sidney (Arizona) and Braylon Pope (Washington). The former of the two is high school teammates with four-star quarterback and fellow Class of '27 commit Blake Roskopf, and the latter of the two is the highest-ranked player according to the 247Sports Composite.

In efforts to bolster the '27 wide receiver room even further, Washington is reportedly ramping up the recruitment for four-star IMG Academy wide receiver Zion White.

According to a report from Huskies Wire writer Roman Tomashoff, UW wide receivers coach Kevin Cummings will host White on an official visit June 19.

The 6-foot-4, 199-pound pass catcher is a Hawaii native and transferred high schools to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He's ranked as the 161st-best overall player, 22nd-best wide receiver and 17th-best player in Florida according to the 247Sports Composite.

In addition to White's scheduled visit to Seattle, he also has official visits scheduled with North Carolina on May 29 and Cal on June 5.

White participated in the 2026 Under Armour All-American Bowl and had a game-high five catches for 63 yards and a touchdown. He also competed in the 2026 Polynesian Bowl.

Director of scouting for 247Sports, Andrew Ivins, had the following scouting report on White:

Large perimeter target with the bounce and coordination to be a chain-mover on Saturdays. Saw a dip in production as a junior after transferring into IMG Academy, but led the Under Armour All-America Game in receptions as an underclassman.-Chews up grass with a long and smooth stride.-Reels in off-target passes with firm hands. Shields defenders from the catch point with his size and body positioning. Already embraces the idea of blocking and works for teammates in space. Might not be the most dynamic mover with the ball in his hands, but will try to find additional yardage. Should be viewed as a young X projection that needs some fine-tuning, but one that can be a difference-maker if it all comes together with his physical tools.

Currently, Cal appears to be the front runners to land White per Rivals.com's prediction model. Cal has a 53.9% chance to land him, per the website. UW has a 2.1% chance to earn a commitment from him.
