The Washington Huskies football program is continuing where it left off last season on the recruiting trail.
That recruiting class could grow in numbers and standing in the coming weeks.
According to a post on "X" from Kevin Cacabelos of SeaTown Sports, four-star Class of 2027 quarterback Blake Roskopf will be on campus in Seattle for Washington's junior day from March 7-8.
Roskopf, who's listed at 6-foot-5, 235 pounds, is a high school teammate of a current class of '27 commit, four-star wide receiver Zerek Sidney.
Roskopf and Sidney both attend high school at Desert Edge in Goodyear, Ariz. Roskopf is currently ranked as the 203rd-best player in the country, 11th-best quarterback in the nation and second-best player in Arizona according to 247Sports.
According to a scouting report from 247Sports national recruiting analyst Greg Biggins, Roskopf is a "fast-rising quarterback with a very high ceiling" with notable arm talent and has great pocket presence despite being considered a pure pocket passer.
Roskopf also has offers from other notable programs such as Georgia, Ole Miss, Oregon, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Illinois and Duke, among others.
The Huskies have still yet to earn a commitment from a quarterback in the '27 class but are in the running for several notable prospects.
Washington is one of the final teams being considered by four-star quarterback Sione Kaho, who's an in-state recruit from Tacoma, Wash. The Huskies have also offered four-star quarterback Peter Bourque, who recently decommitted from Michigan.
The Huskies are also among the final players being considered by four-star edge rusher Zane Rowe, four-star safety Gavin Williams and four-star cornerback Josiah Molden.
If Washington is able to land a quarterback, he would be the third offensive player to commit and the first non-wide receiver to announce his intention to play for UW.
The Huskies' seven commitments, as of Wednesday, are: Sidney, three-star wide receiver Braylon Pope, three-star cornerback/athlete Maurice Williams, three-star linebackers Ethan and Justin Coach and Titus Osterman and three-star defensive lineman Matamatagi Uiagalelei.
The eight teams currently ranked ahead of Washington in the recruiting rankings are, in order: Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Louisville, Texas, Nebraska and Georgia.
The Huskies 2026 recruiting class ranked 12th in the country, which was the highest-ranked class in program history. If Washington continues at its current pace, the '27 class will exceed that.
