The Washington Huskies football program are coming off their best win of the season.
Washington beat the then-No. 23 Illinois Fighting Illini 42-25 on Oct. 25. It was the Huskies first ranked win of the season and improved their record to 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the Big Ten.
Washington has four more games left in the season but will have a bye week before it plays the final third of the regular season.
The Huskies will be back in action against Wisconsin at a to-be-determined time on Nov. 8 at Camp Randall Stadium in Madiscon, Wisc.
Washington is in a good position going into its bye week, and it will be healthier coming out of it.
According to quotes made by Jedd Fisch in a report published by Seattle Times reporter Andy Yamashita, Huskies sophomore wide receiver Rashid Williams and graduate tight end Quentin Moore will both be available when the Huskies play the Badgers.
Williams hasn't played since the team's 70-10 win against the UC Davis Aggies on Sept. 6. He has five receptions for 54 yards on the season and had one catch for 27 yards against the Aggies. He left the game against UC Davis after injuring his collarbone on Washington's opening drive of the game.
Williams was one of the team's best performers in fall camp and started the first two games of the season against the Colorado State Rams and Aggies.
Moore left the game in the Huskies' 24-7 loss against Michigan on Oct. 18.
“It’s a nice problem to have when you gain depth,” Fisch said in a news conference Monday. “It’s a nice problem to have when your starters come back or when guys who were impacting the game come back. So we’ll have to really look at it and see as we get Quentin Moore back, as we get Rashid back.”
