INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The Indianapolis Colts' 33-8 romp over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday was significant for numerous reasons.

It was the team's first game since the passing of late owner Jim Irsay in May, it opened a season in which it feels nearly everyone in the organization is on the hot seat, and it was the team's first win on opening day since 2013.

The phrase of the day in the locker room was "complementary football," as the team got invaluable contributions from the offense, defense, and special teams. With that being the case, several players stood out statistically, making either personal or franchise history.

The "Crunching Numbers" series is reserved weekly for acknowledging milestones and achievements reached by the Colts and their individual players after each game. The following achievements by the Colts were provided postgame by Colts Communications, unless listed otherwise.
