Kyle Shanahan recovering from serious car accident

The string of bad luck appears to be continuing for the 49ers. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Saturday morning that head coach Kyle Shanahan suffered “significant” injuries in a car accident on July 14th. 

Schefter reports that Shanahan broke his nose, three ribs, his hand and required over 40 stitches in his face. He also suffered a severe concussion in the accident. He is expected to be limited when the 49ers begin training camp.
