The San Francisco 49ers’ principal owner Jed York was punished on Friday by Roger Goodell and the NFL. The punishment comes after York was arrested during the offseason for getting caught up in a prostitution sting.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the punishment includes a six-game suspension and a $500,000 fine.
Ian Rapoport adds that York has spent the first three weeks of the season away from the team, allowing that time to count towards the suspension.
