49ers and Rams Kick Off Week One in Australia

With the announcement that the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams will kick off their seasons against each other in Melbourne, Australia next season, more information has started to leak out regarding the specifics of when the international matchup will take place. 

John Ourand of Puck is now reporting that, not only will the matchup take place in week 1, but it will be on either Wednesday, September 9, or Thursday, September 10.

Regardless, it's the next step in the NFL's attempt to make their product a global phenomenon.
