NFC West Standings Through Week 11 cover image

Rams lead, but Seahawks and 49ers surge. The NFC West battle intensifies as playoff races heat up, with every game proving critical.

The NFC West continues to be one of the most competitive divisions in football, and after Week 11, the race is shaping up to go down to the wire. With three teams above .500, and two firmly in the NFC playoff picture, the division remains defined by physical football, elite coaching, and unpredictable weekly turnouts.

1. Los Angeles Rams (8–2)

The Rams sit alone at the top after another strong performance, pushing their record to 8–2 and proving they’re not just a contender, they’re a legitimate threat in the NFC. Their offense continues to find rhythm behind an explosive passing attack and a ground game that’s doing just enough to keep defenses honest. Defensively, they’ve held up remarkably well and continue to force timely turnovers. The Rams have the inside track, but with divisional games still on the horizon, nothing is locked in.

2. Seattle Seahawks (7–3)

The Seahawks remain right on Los Angeles’ heels at 7–3, playing disciplined, complementary football. Their offense has been balanced and efficient, and the defense, particularly the secondary, has taken a step forward this season. Seattle’s ability to win close games has kept them near the top of the standings, and with their toughest stretch still ahead, they’ll need every bit of that resilience. If they can steal a divisional matchup late, they could still challenge the Rams for the crown.

3. San Francisco 49ers (7–4)

San Francisco’s season has been a rollercoaster of injuries, big performances, and weekly adjustments, but at 7–4, they’re firmly in the mix. Week 11 marked the long-awaited return of a fully healthy offense and the results were immediate. The 49ers’ win keeps them within striking distance of the division leaders. Their remaining NFC West matchups will ultimately decide whether they push for the top or settle into a wild card race.

4. Arizona Cardinals (3–7)

Despite their 3–7 record, the Cardinals have proven tougher than their record suggests. Five of their losses this season have been by 13 points or fewer, and Jacoby Brissett has kept the offense competitive even amid major injuries, including the loss of rookie star receiver Marvin Harrison Jr and running back, James Conner. Their discipline issues, beating themselves due to penalties, continue to be one of their biggest obstacles. They are too often in their own way.

The Road Ahead

With six weeks left, the NFC West remains firmly up for grabs. The Rams hold the advantage, the Seahawks and 49ers are both within striking distance, and even the Cardinals have enough fight in them to play spoiler against somebody.
