A rookie hero's touchdown seals a wild offensive shootout. Bears ignite with season-high points, narrowly topping Joe Flacco's Bengals in a back-and-forth thriller.

The Chicago Bears didn't linger on their 30-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens long and beat the Cincinnati Bengals 47-42 on Sunday.

There were plenty of offensive fireworks for both teams, but the Chicago offense stood out. Both teams finished with over 400 yards of total offense before the smoke cleared.

There are no easy wins in the NFL and that was on full display at Paycor Stadium. It came down to the final minute of the game, as Caleb Williams found Colston Loveland. Loveland then bounced off multiple tacklers and broke free for a 58-yard touchdown with 17 seconds to go.

Loveland finished his day with 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

There were eight lead changes throughout the game, but Chicago still came out on top and is 5-3. Chicago fans, you can finally breathe.

Chicago scored a season-high 47 points, with the previous high being 31 in the win over the Dallas Cowboys.

Williams finished with 280 passing yards and three touchdowns. He completed 20 of his 34 passing attempts in the win. He led a clutch game-winning drive, starting with Chicago's own 28-yard line and having 54 seconds to go.

One of the biggest performances of the day came from rookie running back Kyle Monangai. The Bears were already short staffed at running back, with both D'Andre Swift (groin) and Roschon Johnson (back) out with injuries.

Monangai finished with 176 rushing yards and continued moving the chains despite not scoring any touchdowns.

Even Brittain Brown got involved in the rushing attack, scoring a 22-yard touchdown on the ground.

While there are plenty of things to complain about on the defensive side of the ball, they were still able to force Joe Flacco into turning the ball over three times. Flacco threw two interceptions and lost one fumble.

At the end of the day, the Bears were able to keep pace with the Bengals and apply pressure to Flacco to score. To his credit, he didn't go down without a fight, but Chicago made the plays it needed to win this kind of game.

Flacco ended his day with 470 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. Going into the week, his status was uncertain as he was dealing with an AC Joint injury on his throwing shoulder. Flacco was listed questionable but played regardless and gave the Bears a fight for 60 whole minutes.

There are many positives and negatives as the Bears are now 5-3 and look ahead to the New York Giants.
