The game we've all been waiting for since Week 14 has finally arrived.
Round two of the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers takes place Saturday night at Soldier Field. It has felt like a very long two weeks since the Packers handed the Bears that 28-21 loss at Lambeau Field.
Chicago now has a chance to erase the memory of that loss with a win at home in the Windy City.
After falling to the No. 7 seed in the NFC, the Bears are now the No. 2 seed. Green Bay lost 34-26 to the Denver Broncos in Week 15. Chicago is also back in the lead in the NFC North.
A win over the Packers and a Detroit Lions loss gives the Bears a guaranteed playoff spot.
Here's how the Bears can pull it off:
Last time the Bears played the Packers, it took until the second half for Chicago to score its first touchdown.
That can't happen again this time around. If the Packers can get settled in on the road, it could be a long day for this Bears' defense.
Getting into a rhythm early, whether it's setting the tone with the running game or getting Caleb Williams hot with some early completions, is of the utmost importance.
One of the ways to beat this Packers team is to get Jordan Love into making mistakes.
The Packers are 2-4-1 this season when Love has one or more turnovers in a game. He defied the odds against the Bears in Week 14, but creating takeaways should still be a priority for Dennis Allen and his defense.
In the loss to the Broncos, Love finished with 276 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
It appeared that the Bears were only going to be going into halftime down 7-3 in game one.
That all changed as Love threw a 45-yard touchdown pass to Bo Melton with 38 seconds to go in the half. Without that touchdown, the game would have been tied at 21 instead of the Bears needing to score a touchdown with under a minute to go.
This will be even more important depending on who receives the opening kickoff in the second half.
If you need any bulletin board material to get ready for this game, I'm not sure what to tell you. The Bears and Packers settle the score at Soldier Field at 7:20 p.m. CT via NBC.
