Unleash Caleb Williams' arm, pressure Stafford, and dominate Soldier Field to achieve a long-awaited NFC Championship berth.

The last time the Chicago Bears were in the NFC Championship was the 2010 season.

They faced the Green Bay Packers and lost 21-14. An opportunity stands before them to reach the game once again. This time, the Los Angeles Rams are standing in their way.

It will be no easy feat, as the Rams are red-hot, with Puka Nacua dismantling secondaries regularly. Defensive coordinator Dennis Allen will have his hands full.

To combat Nacua when he lines up in the slot, Allen revealed that both C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Kyler Gordon will each see time there. Gordon just returned from the injured reserve after recovering from a groin injury

The game will have plenty of fans watching, as it will be shown on Sunday Night Football. Here's how the Bears can clinch their spot in the NFC title game:

Fast Start Comes Through the Air

As fans know well, the Bears have struggled to get the offense going early in games this season.

One way to combat this is to change the offensive philosophy at the beginning of games potentially. The Bears have scored three opening-drive touchdowns, and there's been one factor in all of them.

Chicago has to trust Caleb Williams' arm early. The pass-to-rush ratio in playcalling on all of these opening-drive scores has favored the pass.

The running game is a big part of Chicago's offense, but if Ben Johnson chooses to throw more early in the game, it could lead to touchdowns.

Pressure an Injured Matthew Stafford

Matthew Stafford didn't carry an injury designation on the final Rams' injury report before the game.

However, he is still nursing a sprain on his index finger from the 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers. Getting pressure on Stafford since he won't be at 100% could be the key to limiting the Rams' offense.

Stafford started the Rams' first four possessions, going 8-for-8 with 107 passing yards. After the injury, he threw an interception and completed two of his next 12 passes.

Defend Soldier Field

The Bears' defense has been inconsistent at times throughout the season.

Chicago has given up 415 points this season. At home, they've been very consistent, allowing an average of 18.7 points per game. This ranks 10th in the NFL.

Playing good defense in the playoffs is crucial, but especially when it's your own stadium.

If the Bears can do all three of these things, they'll have a good shot of reaching the NFC Championship Game for the first time since the 2010 season.

Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT on NBC.
