The Chicago Bears are now 7-3 after taking down the Minnesota Vikings 19-17 on Sunday.
It was the first win over an NFC North opponent this season and the first time beating Minnesota for Caleb Williams, who was 0-3 against the Vikings in his career heading into the game.
Chicago lost its 16-3 lead in the fourth quarter after Minnesota scored two touchdowns to go up 17-16 with 50 seconds left. After a 56-yard kickoff return from Devin Duvernay, Chicago started its final drive of the game on the Minnesota 40-yard line.
All the Bears had to do was run the ball and get into field goal range for Cairo Santos. They did and Santos hit the 48-yard game winner.
An interesting stat was revealed after the win involving Chicago's defense. The Bears are 6-0 this season when forcing at least two turnovers in a game. Chicago got Minnesota quarterback J.J. McCarthy to throw two of them, so it's no surprise that the Bears won again using that method.

The Bears are 6-0 when they force at least two takeaways this season 🐻
In the Bears' seven wins this season, they have 21 takeaways, two giveaways, a +19 turnover margin and 52 points off turnovers. In the three losses, the defense has one takeaway, four giveaways, a -3 turnover margin and seven points off turnovers.
The defense being able to force the number of turnovers they have in year one under defensive coordinator Dennis Allen is great to see, but it's even better that the offense has been able to turn them in points as well.
This is also a great sign considering the red zone struggles Chicago has had at various points this season.
Chicago was already leading the league in takeaways ahead of Week 11 at 20 and increased its lead to 22 after taking down the Vikings.
Chicago hasn't had a problem with turning the ball over but will need to be on its best behavior against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12. The Steelers are tied for the most takeaways with the Jacksonville Jaguars at 18.
Caleb Williams has thrown four interceptions, and the Bears have fumbled nine times thus far.
The Steelers are the second-to-last team from the AFC North that the Bears will face in 2025. They are 1-1 against the division after beating the Cincinnati Bengals and losing to the Baltimore Ravens.
Chicago will face the Cleveland Browns on Dec. 14 to close out its series with the AFC North. Next Sunday's game kicks off at noon CT on CBS.
