Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is only in his second year in the NFL, but he is showing signs of greatness.
On Sunday, he engineered a comeback win for Chicago, as the Bears were down 20-10 at the beginning of the fourth quarter to the New York Giants. Williams scored two touchdowns, one on a pass to Rome Odunze and another with a 17-yard rush, to give the Bears a 24-20 win.
Williams had 220 passing yards, 63 rushing yards and two total touchdowns in the win. He has 2,136 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and four interceptions on the season. He had 3,541 passing yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions as a rookie.
Former New York Jets (2009-2014) and Buffalo Bills (2015-16) head coach Rex Ryan stated on a recent edition of ESPN's "Get Up" that he believed Williams was a "generational talent."
"He's a generational talent," Ryan said. "I think people forget that. He's a generational talent. And now you pair him with a heck of a football coach, and like I say, he's gonna get like this, he's gonna keep climbing, guys. When this is all said and done, is this a playoff team? It kinda looks that way."

Rex Ryan says Caleb Williams is a "generational talent" 👀
Before his time as a head coach, Ryan was a defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens from 2005-08. He was the last Jets' head coach to take the team to the playoffs, losing in the AFC Championship Game to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19 in the 2010 season.
Williams keeps on living up to the expectations of his No. 1 overall pick status with each passing week, despite having some disappointing stretches and learning moments along the way.
This season, we saw him struggle against the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens, throwing for 457 passing yards and two interceptions in those contests.
However, in his last two games, he has accounted for 500 passing yards, 116 rushing yards and four total touchdowns with zero interceptions.
This hot streak for Williams has been fun to watch, and we'll see how long he can keep it up.
The Minnesota Vikings are up next for Chicago, after losing 27-24 to them in Week 1. The Vikings currently allow the 11th-fewest passing yards per game in the NFL at 209.78.
The Bears are still searching for their first divisional win this season as that game kicks off at noon CT on Fox live from Soldier Field on Sunday.
