Despite a fierce divisional rivalry and past criticism, the All-Pro pass rusher labels Chicago's "Iceman" the league's premier talent ahead of the NFL's official top 100 rankings.
The Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers don't agree on much.
One thing they both understand is that Caleb Williams is one of a kind.
Williams and the Bears faced the Packers three times last season. The Packers got the better of the Bears in Week 14 after the offense stalled and Williams threw a pick in the red zone.
Chicago got its revenge in Week 16 after a 22-16 overtime win after being down 16-6 at one point in the fourth quarter.
The Bears saw the Packers one more time in the Wild Card round. This time, Chicago was down 21-3 in the fourth quarter. The Bears defied the odds again and won 31-27 after what looked like an insurmountable lead by the Packers.
Unfortunately for Micah Parsons, he suffered a torn ACL in Week 15 just before the Bears played the Packers for the second time in the regular season. However, he hasn't shied away from defending Bears players in the past.
Parsons was shocked when Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright was snubbed from the Pro Bowl. He went on X to vent his frustrations. After a breakout first season with the Bears, Wright departed the team in free agency and has since signed with the New York Jets.
Now, Parsons had something to say about Williams.
It's almost time for the NFL to release its top 100 players list for 2026. Various veterans from around the league were asked who the No. 1 player on the list would be. For Parsons, he surprisingly went with Williams.
"Yeah, Iceman," Parsons said.
Parsons has also been vocal about his dislike of the Bears in the past. Last season, he was asked about the Packers' game plan for the Bears going into Week 14. He didn't mince words then.
Myles Garrett even defended Williams in a previous episode of his podcast. Garrett tried to get under Parsons's skin by repeatedly mentioning how close the Packers came to beating the Bears.
Parsons noted that the Packers beat the Bears in Week 14, but Garrett pointed out that they couldn't finish the job after losing the final two meetings.
Parsons is paid to sack quarterbacks like Williams, and rightfully so. He's one of the best at his position and has made five Pro Bowls.
However, even someone on the Packers knows that Williams is one of the best in the league, if not the best.
