Davante Adams harbors a deep playoff grudge, seeking to settle the score against the Bears with his new Rams team.

The Chicago Bears are seeing a familiar foe on Sunday in Davante Adams, who now plays for the Los Angeles Rams.

Before the Rams, the receiver played for the Green Bay Packers alongside Aaron Rodgers from 2014-2021. Adams has 1,081 career receiving yards and 10 touchdowns against the Bears and has a personal vendetta heading into the game.

The Bears beat his former team after going into the fourth quarter down 21-6 in the Wild Card round. Chicago turned things around and went on to win 31-27, knocking the Packers out of the playoffs.

Now, head coach Matt LaFleur's future with the organization is uncertain.

Adams went on a recent edition of "Up and Adams." He mentioned that he isn't a Packer anymore, but he still has loyalty to the franchise, even though he plays for the Rams.

"At this point in the year, I'm not too much on social media, so I don't see a lot of this stuff they're saying, but yeah, once a Packer always a Packer," Adams said. "So, it's one of those situations where I got loyalty to them, but I'm doing this for the Rams. Unfortunately, this is not for the Packers people, but if they get something from it, I love that as well."

The veteran receiver didn't separate from Rodgers for long. He spent two full seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders (2022-23) before being traded to the New York Jets three games into the 2024 season.

He spent the rest of that season with the Rodgers and the Jets. Adams has picked up right where he left off, as he leads the NFL in touchdown catches at 14 with the Rams.

Adams' quarterback Matthew Stafford is dealing with an injury heading into the game. Stafford injured his index finger in the 34-31 win over the Carolina Panthers, and head coach Sean McVay later confirmed that he had sprained it

This means that there's a chance Stafford isn't at 100% ahead of the game.

Stafford has also struggled in cold-weather games historically, posting a 1-9 record. For reference, it will be around 10 degrees in Chicago at kickoff.

Various NFL analysts like Dan Orlovsky, Adam Schefter, Alex Smith and Rex Ryan have all predicted a Rams win. The Bears will have a chance to prove all of them wrong at Soldier Field on Sunday.

Kickoff is set for 5:30 p.m. CT on NBC.
