Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase was named a 2025 First Team All-Pro by the Associated Press, earning one of the NFL’s highest individual honors after another dominant season. Chase’s selection came despite Cincinnati finishing 6-11, placing third in the AFC North, and missing the postseason for a third straight year.
Chase finished the 2025 regular season with 125 receptions for 1,412 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He recorded seven games with at least 100 receiving yards, setting a single-season Bengals franchise record. His total receptions ranked him third among the league leaders, while his receiving yardage placed him fourth in that category to close the regular season.
Chase’s All-Pro season was defined by consistency under unstable conditions. Playing with three different quarterbacks this season, he produced his numbers while catching passes from Joe Burrow, Jake Browning, and Joe Flacco, remaining Cincinnati’s primary offensive weapon regardless of who was under center. His production did not dip with quarterback changes, and he continued to draw top defensive coverage throughout the season.
Chase led the Bengals in receptions and receiving yards and was responsible for a significant share of the team’s passing offense.
The 2025 honor marked Chase’s second consecutive First-Team All-Pro selection, placing him in elite company both within the organization and across the league. Through five NFL seasons, Chase has now recorded five straight 1,000-yard seasons and three consecutive seasons with at least 100 receptions, reinforcing his standing as one of the most consistent receivers of the modern era.
Since entering the league, Chase has continued to build a résumé that places him in elite company both within the Bengals’ record books and across the league. With the latest honor, Chase became the fifth player in Bengals history with multiple First-Team All-Pro nods, joining franchise legends Anthony Munoz (9), Willie Anderson (3) and Chad Johnson (2), and Geno Atkins (2).
Chase’s All-Pro selection comes in his first year after signing a four-year, $161 million contract extension through the 2029 season, making him the current highest paid wide receiver in the league and one the highest paid non-quarterback at that time.
The selection further cements Chase’s place among the league’s elite wide receivers and among the most accomplished players in Bengals history. At 25 years old, he continues to produce at a level that places him among the NFL’s most impactful offensive players, regardless of circumstance and appears to still have a lot left in the tank for years to come.
