As the season wrapped up, the Bengals acknowledged Burrow’s latest accolade on social media. “That’s 3x Pro Joe,” the team wrote on X, recognizing his third Pro Bowl selection and reinforcing his status as the face of the franchise.
Burrow’s legacy has continued to grow. Since entering the league as the No. 1 overall pick in 2020, he has led Cincinnati to a Super Bowl appearance and guided the team to back-to-back AFC Championship Games earlier in his career.
His calm demeanor, accuracy and leadership have made him one of the most respected quarterbacks in the NFL, even as team success has fluctuated.
Looking ahead, the Bengals face difficult questions. Burrow remains under contract, but continued disappointment could force the organization to reexamine its long-term direction.
With cap constraints looming and key roster decisions approaching, some around the league have begun to wonder whether Cincinnati could eventually consider a dramatic reset that includes moving on from its franchise quarterback.
