The Cincinnati Bengals have not one, but two quarterbacks representing them in the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. Star signal-caller Joe Burrow and backup Joe Flacco, who's entering free agency this offseason, both made the cut.
Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young is the head coach for the AFC squad, and he didn't beat around the bush when learning of Burrow's inclusion on Sunday, per Bengals.com's Geoff Hobson.
"He's playing? Tell him to get in here, man," the two-time NFL MVP said. "We've got to get set up."
Young then described Burrow's greatness.
"He's that guy," the former Super Bowl MVP said. "I saw Tee and I see Ja'Marr and if everyone's healthy … there's no reason why the Bengals shouldn't be competing for a championship every year."
"His guile, I'll call it. He has elite guile," he continued. "Street smarts. Most people's heart rate goes up when the pressure goes up. But it seems like Joe's goes down. He's so present and aware. I'm looking forward to seeing him."
The Bengals announced that Burrow made his third Pro Bowl this season on Sunday via social media.

The event will be a combination of skills challenges and a seven-on-seven flag football game. This is the fourth year of the game being a non-contact flag football format, which was instituted for player safety.
Burrow missed nine games due to turf toe in 2025, but still finished 24th in the NFL with 17 passing touchdowns against just five picks. The 29-year-old also logged 1,809 yards on a 66.8 completion percentage.
The Bengals acquired Flacco from the Cleveland Browns less than a month after Burrow went down in Week 2, and he finished with 2,479 yards, 15 touchdowns, 10 picks, and a 61.7 completion rate over nine games with the team. The 41-year-old made his first-ever Pro Bowl this year.
Meanwhile, Chase followed up his receiving Triple Crown campaign by finishing third in the NFL with 125 catches, fourth with 1,412 yards, and tied for 11th with eight touchdowns despite missing his starting quarterback for over half the season. Higgins tallied 59 catches, 846 yards, and 11 scores, the latter of which tied for second in the league.
The Pro Bowl will start at 8:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday at Moscone Center in San Francisco. The game will be broadcast on ESPN/Disney XD.
