The Buffalo Bills are adding a six-time Pro Bowler.
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bills claimed CB Darius Slay off waivers.
Slay was cut by the Steelers on Tuesday.
Slay appeared in 10 games this season for the Steelers. He recorded zero interceptions, 28 solo tackles and one tackle for loss.
A one-time Super Bowl champion, Slay has played for the Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles and Steelers. He has 28 interceptions and three touchdowns in his career.
Slay helped the Eagles win the Super Bowl last season against the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Bills are 8-4 after beating the Steelers last Sunday. They are in second place in the AFC East and currently hold the final Wild Card playoff spot.
Buffalo is giving up 21.6 points per game, which ranks 13th in the NFL. Sean McDermott's defense will look to generate more turnovers moving forward with Slay in the mix.
The Bills face the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Cleveland Browns, Eagles and New York Jets to close out the regular season.
The Bengals, Browns and Jets are below .500, so Buffalo should win those games.
Meanwhile, the Patriots have the best record in the NFL and the Eagles are atop the NFC East.
