The Buffalo Bills have announced a new beer horn for the season opener against the Detroit Lions.

The Buffalo Bills will officially be opening their new stadium on Thursday against the Detroit Lions.

Highmark Stadium will now be the new home for the Bills moving forward, and there is real excitement in the air for the first regular-season game. Ahead of the game against the Lions, the Bills have confirmed that an exclusive "beer horn" will be sold in the stadium.

Fans will be able to purchase the beer horn during the game at the following locations according to the team:

  • Labatt Skyline Deck
  • Labatt Ice Bar, Section 336
  • Labatt Beer & Gear
  • Market at Section 110
  • Market at Section 134

The beer horn will include a 16 oz. Labatt Blue or Labatt Blue Light can. This will be $30 at the stadium, with them being for sale up until kickoff at games.

These horns are reusable, and they were inspired for Bills Mafia. Fans 21 years of age or older only will be able purchase the beer horn.

Buffalo will be looking to move to 2-0 in the new season after a big win in Week 1 against the Houston Texans. Now facing off against the Lions, the Bills will have another test to deal with.

Houston entered the season as one of the better defenses in the NFL, but the Bills were able to take care of them. And Detroit is seen as one of the stronger offensive teams in the league giving the Bills defense another challenge.

Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is one of the best in the game, and the Bills' defense will need to make sure that they contain him as much as possible. If the Lions aren't able to get the ground game going, it could end up being a long day for quarterback Jared Goff.

Detroit relies on the run to establish the pass, so the Bills will be trying to take away as much as they can. But the Lions do have strong wide receivers as well, making the challenge for Buffalo even more difficult.

However, in front of a rowdy crowd and in a new stadium, the Bills will be trying to earn a massive win against one of the better teams in the NFC. If they can put together another strong 60-min game, Buffalo should be able to come away with another win.

Kickoff between the Bills and Lions is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. PT/8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
