The Buffalo Bills are being predicted to swing a big trade with the Dallas Cowboys to land a significant weapon.

The Buffalo Bills definitely need to add some weapons this offseason, specifically when it comes to their receiving corps.

It is becoming increasingly obvious that Keon Coleman is not the answer, and we don't even know if he will be a member of the team next season. Khalil Shakir is a nice player, but he is more of an auxiliary receiver than a top option.

The Bills are expected to attack the wide receiver position in the NFL Draft, which is certainly a more feasible route than free agency and/or trades given Buffalo's dicey financial situation.

The Bills currently own the 26th overall pick of the draft this April, but Chad Reuter of NFL.com envisions Buffalo moving up.

In a recent mock draft, Reuter predicted the Bills to swing a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, where they would bag the No. 20 pick and select Washington Huskies wide receiver Denzel Boston.

"With former receiver Stefon Diggs being the last Bills player top 1,000 receiving yards in a season (2023), they are still searching for a No. 1 option for Josh Allen," Reuter wrote. "So they trade their third- and fourth-round selections to Dallas in exchange for this pick and a sixth-rounder in order to draft the talented Boston, who has great size (6-4, 210 pounds) and sticky hands."

In a draft class that includes big names like Carnell Tate, Jordyn Tyson and Makai Lemon, Boston actually has the potential to become the best of the bunch.

During his final season at Washington in 2025, the 22-year-old hauled in 62 receptions for 881 yards and 11 touchdowns, averaging a healthy 14.2 yards per catch.

The big-bodied Boston would possibly provide Allen with the target the Bills hoped Coleman would be, and it would also further open up those short and intermediate routes for Shakir and Buffalo's tight ends.

It would definitely be a costly trade in terms of draft capital, and it stands to reason that Boston actually could be available when the Bills pick at No. 26. But if there is any indication Boston might not be on the board, Buffalo may need to make a move.

For all of the talk about Tate and some of the other top receivers in this draft class, Boston might be the real gem.
