The Buffalo Bills are being predicted to lose the Super Bowl by three separate NFL analysts.
The Buffalo Bills will enter the new NFL season ready to finally get themselves over the hump in the AFC.
After coming up short yet again last season, Buffalo decided to make some big changes across the organization. Longtime head coach Sean McDermott was let go, paving the way for Joe Brady to be promoted.
Now with Brady leading the way, there seems to be more optimism around this unit. Brady has learned from all his years under McDermott, but he brings his own twist to the table.
The team also traded for star wide receiver D.J. Moore this offseason, giving quarterback Josh Allen a true weapon to throw the ball to. Buffalo had been relying on Allen a little too much over the years, especially in the playoffs.
Combining this with an improved defensive unit, the Bills are being seen as a true Super Bowl threat once again. Many people are picking them to win it all this season, bringing an end to the long misery of the franchise.
However, three NFL analysts from NFL.com aren't buying the Bills winning the Super Bowl this season. Instead, they have predicted that Buffalo will fall short in the big game yet again.
"Rams over Bills. The Rams spent the offseason grabbing headlines, and they somehow live up to the hype all season long. Superman Josh Allen gets grounded by a suffocating L.A. defense," Mike Yam wrote
"Rams over Bills. The Bills finally get their chance to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Buffalo, but Matthew Stafford and Myles Garrett are too tough to beat at SoFi Stadium in The Big Game," Chad Reuter wrote.
"Eagles over Bills. Joe Brady helps Josh Allen get over the hump, but the Bills fall short in the Super Bowl to an Eagles team led by an elite defense," Ben McWilliams wrote.
Two of the three analysts have Buffalo losing to the Los Angeles Rams, which would give the Bills more heartbreak. But Los Angeles is the only other team with more people predicting it to win.
A Bills-Rams matchup would be quite entertaining, especially with all the star power across the field. But any result other than a win for the Bills would be tough to see, sending the organization back into its feelings heading into the offseason.
2026 is truly a Super Bowl-or-bust year for the Bills, and if they can't get the job done, more changes could be coming down the line.
