As the Buffalo Bills make final preparations for their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, the team has released its last injury report ahead of the game.
Overall, things are looking better for a Bills team that seemed pretty depleted on the defensive side of the ball against Miami last week. In total, only two players have been declared out while four are listed as questionable.
As far as who's out for the game, tight end Dalton Kincaid and defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis are out with a hamstring and shoulder injury, respectively.
The four players questionable for Sunday include cornerback Taron Johnson, defensive back Cam Lewis, linebacker Shaq Thompson, and defensive tackle T.J Sanders. Sanders is eligible to return for injured reserve after his practice window was opened this week.
Aside from those six players, everyone else on the injury report was a full participant on Friday. That means, barring anything major, players like Joey Bosa, A.J. Epenesa Khalil Shakir, Christian Benford, and Joshua Palmer should all be good to go against the Bucs.
In addition to the returns from injury, the Bills have reserves that could be active in the near future. Wide Receiver Gabe Davis was practicing this week, and could be an option on the outside for Josh Allen and the Bills offense.
Speaking of offense, veteran Mecole Hardman signed with the practice squad this week, and could be called up to help in the return game and as a gadget player for the Bills.
On the defensive side of the ball, Morgan Fox also signed with the team this week. With the injury to Michael Hoecht two weeks ago, Fox could become a utility defensive lineman for Buffalo moving forward. Whether he gets on the field this weekend will remain to be seen.
If the Bills are going to activate Davis, Hardman, Fox, or anyone else from the practice squad, they have until before the inactive players for the game are announced 90 minutes before kickoff.
