Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is looking forward to playing with WR D.J. Moore.

Buffalo Bills superstar QB Josh Allen and new WR D.J. Moore were in the same draft class, so they had a rapport before the Bills acquired Moore from the Chicago Bears.

As expected, Allen and Moore have already connected and Allen is looking forward to throwing to Moore next season.

"We were in the same draft class," Allen said on Monday. "We spent a little bit of time together actually at the rookie premiere way back in the day. He's a team-first guy. He's obviously very, very talented."

Moore has played for the Carolina Panthers and Bears. He enters next season with 608 receptions, 8,213 receiving yards and 41 receiving touchdowns in the NFL.

"He's got kids, I've got a kid now, and it's like very easy conversations to have to continue to grow that relationship and build trust on the field," Allen said.

The 2024 MVP, Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns last season. The Pro Bowler enters next season with 30,102 passing yards, 220 passing touchdowns, 4,721 rushing yards and 79 career rushing touchdowns.

Buffalo lost to the Denver Broncos in the 2026 playoffs in the Divisional Round on the road. OC Joe Brady was promoted to head coach, replacing Sean McDermott.

"Still respecting the past and what's been here the last 10 years and not shying away from that, but also having his own twist on it," Allen said. "It's been really good to see him embrace the role and step into it. The way that he talks to the guys, you can tell he's very well respected with everybody in that locker room, and it's only going to continue to grow in my opinion."

It will be intriguing to see how far the Bills go next season in Year 1 of the Brady era. With Allen and Moore leading the way, Buffalo should have an elite offense.

The Bills have yet to reach the Super Bowl in the Allen era. That has to change soon. Otherwise, Allen will never be considered an all-time great.

"The main message we're receiving is 'Put the ball down.' Doesn't matter where, doesn't matter when, we're gonna have the competitive stamina to go four quarters or more with anybody. That's our mindset going into it," Allen said.
