Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen made NFL history against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Not only did the Buffalo Bills beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday to improve to 8-4 on the season, but QB Josh Allen also made NFL history.

The 2024 NFL MVP now has the most rushing touchdowns by a QB all time. Cam Newton had 75 during his career with the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots. Allen scored his 76th against the Steelers.

"Third down, it looked like they played kind of, we call it 77, some brackets where they're doubling two guys on the outside and Ty Johnson just kind of made an adjustment midplay," Allen said of the record-breaking run, via ESPN. "I kind of followed him and got out to the right and again, just kind of got stood up. But the O-line coming to throw me in there was pretty cool."

The Bills beat the Steelers by a final score of 26-7. Allen finished the game 15-23 through the air for 123 yards and one touchdown and one interception. He also carried the ball eight times for 38 yards and one touchdown.

One of the best players in NFL history, Allen has six straight seasons with at least 30 combined passing and rushing touchdowns, breaking a tie with Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers for the second-most such consecutive seasons.

Allen set the rushing touchdown record in 123 games. Newton initially set the record in 145 games.

"Nah, I mean, that doesn't, [records are] not why I play the game," Allen said. "I'm just happy I helped this team get a victory tonight."

Allen now has 2,832 passing yards, 19 passing touchdowns, 409 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns on the season.

The Bills torched the Steelers on the ground. The 249 rushing yards were the most by an opposing team at Pittsburgh since Buffalo rushed for 310 yards in 1975.

James Cook led the way with 144 yards.

"I texted [backups Ryan Van Demark and Alec Anderson] today when I woke up and just told them I trust in them and believe in them," Cook said. "And just, 'Let's go, and let's go get a win.' And they texted me, 'I love you, brother, and let's go.'"
