The Buffalo Bills could make a blockbuster deal for a wide receiver.

The Buffalo Bills are 8-4 and will likely be a playoff team once again, but their passing attack hasn't been pretty.

Quarterback Josh Allen is still one of the best players and quarterbacks in the league, but he doesn't have a go-to wide receiver.

In the 2025 season, Allen has completed 69.4 percent of his passes for 2,832 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He has also rushed for 409 yards and 11 touchdowns.

In the Bills' win over the Steelers on Sunday, running backs James Cook and Ty Johnson, along with tight end Dawson Knox, led the team in receptions with three. Keon Coleman led the receivers with two receptions, and Brandin Cooks led the receivers in yards with 13.

While Buffalo is still a contender, it's important to add as much talent as possible around Allen. He hasn't had a top receiver since the Bills moved on from Stefon Diggs.

One player the Bills could target this offseason is Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson. Jefferson had just two receptions for four yards in the Vikings' Week 13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The 26-year-old superstar could grow frustrated with Minnesota's quarterback situation and request a trade this offseason.

On the season, Jefferson has hauled in 62 receptions for 799 yards and two touchdowns. This is a far cry from a season ago, when he had 103 receptions for 1,533 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Jefferson is a two-time All-Pro and was the Offensive Player of the Year in 2022. Adding him to the offense could unlock the best of Allen and help Buffalo make a deep run.

Jefferson will have three years remaining on a four-year $140 million deal, which would make him a core piece of the Bills' offense in the Allen window.

Their rushing attack is already strong, led by star running back James Cook. Cook has already rushed for a career-high 1,228 yards this season, along with eight touchdowns. He has also hauled in 27 receptions for 236 yards and a touchdown.

It would be ironic for the Bills to trade for Jefferson, as they sent the pick the Vikings used to draft him in the deal to acquire Diggs. However, he would be the dynamic weapon that Allen has been missing as they try to maximize this Super Bowl window.
