Bills Predicted to Land Electrifying Weapon for Josh Allen cover image

The Buffalo Bills need to add weapons for Josh Allen, and they have been linked to an electrifying one.

The Buffalo Bills struck out in terms of adding a wide receiver at the NFL trade deadline, and based on the prices that Jakobi Meyers and Rashid Shaheed fetched, you have to wonder just how serious the Bills were about acquiring another weapon.

Now, Buffalo will have to punt to the offseason in order to bring in another serious playmaker for Josh Allen, and Nick Baumgardner of The Athletic has the perfect solution for the team: Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion.

In a 2026 NFL mock draft, Baumgardner has the Bills bagging Concepcion late in the first round.

"When Concepcion’s playing with consistent hands, he’s one of the most dangerous offensive weapons in the country," Baumgardner wrote. "A wide receiver who’s extremely explosive and almost always open, he’d be a lot of fun — and add a weapon on special teams — in Buffalo."

Concepcion spent the first couple of years of his collegiate career at North Carolina State before transferring to Texas A&M ahead of the 2025 campaign.

The 5-foot-11 burner enjoyed a fantastic freshman season at NC State, hauling in 71 receptions for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns. He took a major step back in 2024, snaring 53 balls for 460 yards and six scores but has redeemed himself with the Aggies.

Through eight games with Texas A&M this season, Concepcion has caught 36 passes for 545 yards while reaching the end zone seven times. That's good for a healthy average of 15.1 yards per grab.

Of course, the question is whether or not Concepcion can actually ever develop into a No. 1 receiver on the professional level, which is what the Bills desperately need.

Right now, Buffalo is employing Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman as its top two receivers. Joshua Palmer is the No. 3 and is making his way back from injury. The Bills also have Gabe Davis — who is attempting to return from a torn ACL he suffered last year in Jacksonville — on the practice squad.

As you can see, Buffalo badly needs a top-flight receiver, and while Concepcion is certainly an electrifying weapon, you do have to wonder if he is actually the best fit for the Bills.

There should be plenty of other intriguing wide outs available for Buffalo, so we will see what the Bills decide to do in the spring.
