The Buffalo Bills are being predicted to land a major weapon for Josh Allen.
It has become increasingly obvious over the last couple of seasons that the Buffalo Bills need to add some more weapons for Josh Allen.
Since trading Stefon Diggs during the spring of 2024, the Bills have failed to adequately replace him, instead relying heavily on Khalil Shakir and a host of ancillary options at wide receiver.
Drafting Keon Coleman also clearly has not worked out for Buffalo, and in light of owner Terry Pagula's recent incendiary remarks on the young wide out, it stands to reason that Coleman has played his final snap for the Bills.
Buffalo is expected to acquire a wide receiver in some form or fashion this offseason, and while the NFL Draft may be the most realistic option given the Bills' lack of financial wiggle room, Ryan Guthrie of Pro Football Network is actually predicting Buffalo to make a big free-agent splash and sign George Pickens.
"The Bills’ window is now. After firing Sean McDermott, general manager Brandon Beane has no excuses left," Guthrie wrote. "Josh Allen needs a true alpha target, and Pickens is the best one available."

Questions about Pickens' effort level still surfaced at different points of the season, which was the reason why the Pittsburgh Steelers traded him last year to begin with.
But there is no denying Pickens' talent, and he would instantly become Allen's most dynamic target in the aerial attack.
The problem is that the Cowboys can easily — and probably will — slap a franchise tag on Pickens, who just earned his first Pro Bowl selection while also notching Second-Team All-Pro honors.
And even if Dallas does allow Pickens to walk (which seems unlikely), the Bills — who are currently $14 million over the salary cap — may not be able to make it work financially.
Luckily for Buffalo, the 2026 draft class is loaded with wide receiver talent, so if it is unable to land Pickens or another established No. 1 pass-catcher this offseason, it can utilize the draft to bring in a significant piece.
