The Buffalo Bills face the Jacksonville Jaguars in the Wild Card round in a battle between two talented QBs.
Josh Allen, the reigning MVP, takes on Trevor Lawrence, the former Clemson star who just had a career season under Liam Coen.
The Jaguars will host this game in sunny Florida and NFL analyst Moe Moton of Bleacher Report believes the Bills will win, 34-31.
"Both of these teams have glaring defensive weaknesses," Moton wrote. "The Buffalo Bills allowed the most rushing touchdowns this season and the fourth-most rushing yards per game. The Jacksonville Jaguars are 22nd in passing yards allowed per contest.
"With those key factors in mind, Bills quarterback Josh Allen has earned more trust in being able to exploit a defensive fault than the Jaguars' 19th-ranked ground attack. Jacksonville may have success with its run game, featuring Travis Etienne Jr. and Bhayshul Tuten, but Allen's ability to put on a cape under center and move the ball with his arm and legs tips the scales in Buffalo's favor. The Bills win an entertaining high-scoring matchup that concludes with a series of Allen's highlight-reel plays."
The Bills ranked fourth in the NFL in points per game and 12th in points per game allowed during the regular season.
Meanwhile, the Jaguars were sixth in points per game and eighth in points per game allowed.
This should be an exciting game to watch. I'm leaning toward the Bills as well since Allen has more postseason experience than Lawrence.
Allen has played in 13 playoff games, while Lawrence has appeared in only two.
Lawrence, though, threw for 4,007 yards and 29 touchdowns this season.
"You just see Trevor's comfortable, he's comfortable in the offense," Bills DC Bobby Babich said. "He's comfortable in their operation with what they're doing. They do some good things on offense, and they've got some talent around, which certainly helps."
The Bills are looking to win the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history. Let's see if they can do it after playing at Highmark Stadium for the final time in Week 18 against the New York Jets.
