Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen has spoken out honestly about the team's new-look roster.
The Buffalo Bills are without question one of the top contenders in the AFC heading into the 2026 NFL season. With superstar quarterback Josh Allen leading the charge, they're always going to be a team to watch.
Last season ended in far too familiar fashion for the Bills. They came up just short in the postseason.
That led to Brandon Beane and the Buffalo front office having an aggressive mindset this offseason. They made quite a few moves and brought in a lot of new faces.
Among the notable offseason additions were wide receiver D.J. Moore, who was acquired in a trade with the Chicago Bears, along with free agency signings Bradley Chubb and C.J. Gardner-Johnson. On paper, the Bills look better now than they did entering the offseason.
With that being said, Allen has spoken out about the new-look roster. He also noted that the team has a new head coach and a new stadium as well.
"“A lot of new. We’re gonna figure things out,” Allen said. “Obviously, we go to camp July 28. That’s really where you make your team. But like you said, a lot of new faces, offense, defense, staff-wise. New stadium. New head coach. So, there is a lot of new, and we’re looking forward to getting out there and really learning each other and building that team camaraderie when we go to St. John Fisher in Rochester."
Allen also doubled down on the Super Bowl being the team's only goal this season.
"But, yeah, it’s another tough task, but the goal remains the same, and that’s to bring a Lombardi Trophy to Western New York. And we’re going to do everything in our power to make that happen.”
Overcoming so many changes can be a difficult task. Allen and the Bills have their work cut out for them to get everything together for the start of the regular season.
A lot of the team's success or lack thereof will ride on the shoulders of the star quarterback. He completed 69.3 percent of his pass attempts for 3,668 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions last season, while also running for 579 yards and 14 more scores.
Hopefully, Buffalo is ready for the challenge ahead. Allen and company will head into training camp with a lot of work to do, but the talent is there for the 2026 Bills to be special.
