Bills Roundtable Podcast Ep 19 - It's Time For The Offseason cover image

It's the latest episode of the Bills Roundtable Podcast, join Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin as they talk salary cap, NFL Draft, free agency, and more.

With every game played and coach hirings (nearly) complete, the NFL has started to dive headfirst into the offseason. For the Buffalo Bills, that's an offseason full of questions surrounding the roster.

The new staff for Joe Brady is set, and moves are being planned to address the various concerns with the team. Buffalo expects to be contenders again in 2026, but how can they get there?

First things first, the Bills have to deal with a $29 million dead cap hit for void years that triggered for a number of players. While it's not the worst situation to be in regarding the cap—look at what Miami has to deal with—it will put a bit of a limitation on what General Manager Brandon Beane can do. Still, they survived with the Stefon Diggs $31 million dead cap hit two years ago, and now the cap his higher. With the moves they can make, Buffalo should still be in a solid situation to make some important additions this offseason.

Speaking of additions, the Dolphins are cleaning house, releasing several players, including Tyreek Hill and Bradley Chubb. Immediately, Bills fans on social media started debating the idea of signing one or both. But should they? One makes sense, but the other? Not so much.

Speaking of adding players, what would your dream offseason look like for Buffalo? Do you want a wide receiver or two? What about an edge rusher? There's a lot that the team can still do, but what is the dream scenario?

And, lastly, with the NFL Scouting Combine approaching, it's time to look at a few players to keep an eye on if you're a Bills fan. It's the start of the draft cycle for Bills Roundtable, and it kicks off with a bang.
