Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen slipped in NFL.com's QB rankings.

For the first time this season, Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen is not No. 1 on NFL.com's QB rankings.

Allen is now No. 4 after struggling in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers. He finally looked human in Week 3. The 2024 MVP threw two interceptions and lost one fumble for his first turnovers of the season.

While the Bills did beat the Chargers to improve to 3-0, Allen got a poor QB grade from Bleacher Report for his performance against LA: C-.

Allen went 16/26 through the air for 204 passing yards. He didn't throw a touchdown pass, but Allen did score two rushing touchdowns.

"You're not going to win very many games turning the ball over that much," Allen told reporters. "Sometimes the ball bounces the other way. That's what happens. ... We've got to clean a lot of stuff up."

Allen is still the early MVP frontrunner. He has five passing touchdowns and six rushing touchdowns through three games. The future Hall of Famer is completing 65.1% of his passes for 786 passing yards.

The Bills face the New England Patriots in Week 4. New England is 1-2 after going to the Super Bowl last season and Drake Maye has seven turnovers this season. Buffalo is heavily favored to win this game.

The Bills defeated the Detroit Lions to open Highmark Stadium in Week 2, and once again, Allen played like the best player in the NFL. He went 20/31 through the air for 248 passing yards and three touchdown passes.

Allen and the Bills are averaging 33.7 points through their first three games. The quarterback has accounted for 90 percent of the team’s touchdowns and 79 percent of their yardage.

The Bills are only the third team in NFL history to start 2-0 despite giving up 30-plus points in each game. That's how special Allen and the offense were through two games.

Against the Lions, Allen tallied his fourth career game with three-plus passing touchdowns and two-plus rushing touchdowns in a game. Kordell Stewart (two) is the only other player to ever tally multiple such games in NFL history.

Allen also became the second player in NFL history to account for nine-plus total touchdowns and four-plus rushing touchdowns over a span of five days. Allen joined Ernie Nevers from November 24-28, 1929, when he ran for nine touchdowns and scored all 59 of the Cardinals' points in two wins (19-0, 40-6).

One of the greatest QBs of all time, Allen is the first player with five-plus passing touchdowns and three-plus rushing touchdowns through two games of a season in NFL history. He could very well win his second MVP this season.

However, Allen doesn't care about that. He wants to bring Buffalo its first ever Super Bowl.

Allen needs to win at least one Super Bowl. The Bills have reached the AFC Championship Game twice in the Allen era. Buffalo lost to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs both times.

It will be fascinating to see if Allen and the Bills can reach the promised land this season. Time is running out for Allen to win a championship.

After all, he's not getting any younger and there is so much young talent in today's NFL.
