    This isn't good.

The Buffalo Bills will be without two stars in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints.

LB Matt Milano (pectoral) and DT Ed Oliver (ankle) will miss Sunday's game against the Saints. Both players have been unable to practice this week.

Oliver hasn't played since Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens, while Milano's absence now spans two games after leaving Week 2 against the New York Jets.

The Bills are 3-0 on the season. They look like Super Bowl contenders again. Meanwhile, the Saints are 0-3. All signs point toward them missing the playoffs.

Even though New Orleans is winless, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott praised the group.

"This last game got away from [head coach Kellen Moore]. Overall, the first two games, it's a one possession game. They've got the ball and a chance to win the game," McDermott said of the Saints. "You're seeing them fight until the end and come back from more than one score down, which is hard to do in this league."

Week 10 in 2023 was the last time the Bills lost at home in the regular season. McDermott knows he and his players are blessed with a great home-field advantage.

"Let's also be honest, our fans create an environment. That 12th man is real, and we'll need them again this week," McDermott said. "I know our fans are the best in the NFL for a reason."

The Bills beat the Ravens in Week 1, the Jets in Week 2 and the Miami Dolphins in Week 3. Even though Buffalo is heavily favored to beat Miami, superstar quarterback Josh Allen isn't looking ahead.

"One game at a time," Allen said. "And you know it's the most important one because it's the next one, and we'll figure it out when we get there."
