After an injury-plagued debut in Buffalo, the high-priced receiver enters training camp fully healthy and ready to defend his roster spot against a revamped Bills receiving corps.

After an injury-filled first year with the Buffalo Bills in 2025, the 26-year-old wide receiver says his body feels good ahead of the start of the season.
Palmer recently spoke with Trainwreck Sports' Carson Hayek, and was asked about how the offseason went as he prepares for his second year with the Bills,
"The body is getting way, way, way better," he said. "I'm in a much better place, so I'm looking forward to training camp, looking forward to having a healthy season and year."
Palmer is in the second year of a three-year, $30 million contract he signed with the team last year. His first season was filled with injuries, limiting him to 12 games, where he caught just 22 passes for 303 yards. Going into year two with the Bills and quarterback Josh Allen, Palmer says that he's confident things will improve in 2026.
"I was comfortable and confident last year, so I can imagine how I'm going to feel going into this year," he said.
Palmer enters a training camp with a lot of eyes on him. With an $11.75 million salary cap, Palmer carries the fifth-highest cap hit on the Bills. However, even with that cap hit, his position on the roster is far from a certainty.
The Bills have two new receivers in the locker room this year in DJ Moore and rookie Skyler Bell. Combine that with Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Mecole Hardman Jr., and Trent Sherfield, and Palmer is going to have to fight to prove he's back at full strength.
Should the Bills decide to move on from Palmer, there are ways of getting out of the deal. A trade would be the most cost-effective route as it would clear $10.15 million off of this year's salary cap and $9 million next year. Should they not find a trade partner and want to cut ties, Palmer would clear $2.31 million this year with a $9.44 million dead cap hit.
Of course, that could all be irrelevant if the Toronto native shows up and produces in camp the way Buffalo hoped when they signed him.
