New Buffalo Bills pass rusher Bradley Chubb says he’s aiming to set a career high as he begins his first season in Buffalo.

When the Buffalo Bills brought in pass rusher Bradley Chubb at the start of free agency, the expectation was simple: help boost the pass rush.

Chubb already has a bigger personal goal in mind.

Speaking with Buffalo media for the first time since signing with the team, the two-time Pro Bowl linebacker made it clear he wants to surpass his career high sack total during the 2026 season.

“Yeah, I want to get, I want to beat my career high right now, which is 12. I want to, you know, get over that,” Chubb said. “And I'm going to work every day tirelessly in order to do that. I've come close in 2023 at 11.”

The Bills signed Chubb on Wednesday after his three-and-a-half-year run with the Miami Dolphins came to an end. Buffalo agreed to a three-year deal worth $43.5 million, with incentives that could push the contract to $52.5 million. The deal also includes $29 million guaranteed.

For Chubb, the move to Buffalo represents another opportunity to reach the level he believes he’s capable of.

His current career-high came during his rookie season in 2018 after the Denver Broncos selected him fifth overall out of NC State Wolfpack football. Chubb burst onto the scene that year with 12 sacks.

He nearly matched that mark in 2023 during his first full season with Miami, finishing with 11 sacks while also forcing six fumbles.

Even with those numbers, Chubb believes his best production may still be ahead.

“I feel like I still got more in the tank from that year,” Chubb said. “I feel like that was a good year for me, but I feel like I still got more in the tank and can do even more. So I'm excited to take on that challenge and make it happen.”

Now entering his ninth season in the NFL, Chubb arrives in Buffalo with 303 tackles, 48 sacks, 15 forced fumbles, and one interception over his career.

The Bills added him, hoping he can help elevate their defense and be an effective pass rusher opposite Greg Rousseau. Chubb’s personal goal suggests he’s planning to do exactly that.
