Buffalo Bills Beat Baltimore Ravens 36-10: Instant Reactions
Nov 1, 2026 9:31 PM

Josh Allen makes history and the defense stifles Baltimore as Buffalo survives a gritty Week 8 slugfest, extending their post-bye win streak to twelve straight seasons.

It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win, and the Buffalo Bills found a way to take care of business against the Baltimore Ravens, winning XX-XX on Sunday afternoon.

The win puts Buffalo at 6-1 on the season, keeping them, at the very least tied, atop the AFC standings after eight weeks.

It was a game expected to be a slugfest between two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Unfortunately, that's not what it became. Lamar Jackson left after one offensive play with a thumb injury, and Josh Allen had a game to forget overall.

Still, they won and there was plenty to feel good about if you're a Bills fan. There's also some things that need to be cleaned up.

Bills vs. Ravens Instant Reactions

Positives

Josh Allen makes history - Stop me if you've heard this before: Josh Allen has broken another record. With his touchdown pass to DJ Moore with 12:18 left in the fourth quarter, Allen became the franchise leader in touchdown passes (regular season and playoffs).

Allen finished with 289 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception that came off a Jackson Hawes drop.

Tyler Bass - Speaking of Bills records. Tyler Bass went 3-for-3 on field goals on Sunday. With his first one of the day, he set the regular-season record for consecutive field goals made by a Bills kicker. He's now at 21 straight, with kicks of 56, 22, and 51 yards.

Bills after a bye - The Bills have now won 12 straight games coming off the bye. The last time they lost was in 2014.

Defense shows up - Yes, the Bills had to play most of the game against Baltimore's third-string quarterback, but they took advantage of the situation. They held the Ravens to XXX total yards of offense and only gave up one touchdown that came on a Bills turnover.

Greg Rousseau - He was quiet the last few weeks on the stat sheet, but Rousseau made his presence felt on Sunday. He finished with a sack, two passes defended, three QB hits, at least seven QB pressures, and three total tackles.

Davison Igbinosun - Doesn't matter how you get it, but when you get your first career interception, you deserve a positive.

Dalton Kincaid and DJ Moore - They were both in red non-contact jerseys all week, but both played on Sunday and played well. Moore finished with 4 catches for 82 yards and a touchdown, while Kincaid had 4 catches for 86 yards and a touchdown.

Negatives

3rd down offense - Buffalo went 4-of-14 on third down. When you face healthy teams down the stretch, you aren't going to win games with that kind of performance.

Penalties - The Bills continue to be one of the most undisciplined teams in football with 10 penalties for 87 yards.

James Cook's yards per carry - For the first time this season, Buffalo's top running back was held to under 4 yards per carry. He finished with 80 yards on 21 attempts, good for 3.8 yards per carry.

Case of the drops - Cook, Knox, Kincaid, Hawes all had drops on Sunday, including ones that ended drives or led directly to turnovers in the case of Hawes.

Ball security - They won by 26, but ball security is still a question mark. A dropped pass led to an interception that led to Baltimore's only touchdown. Then, DJ Moore had his own fumble that ended a drive in Ravens territory.
